Pricing. It’s $0.

Not a free trial, not a free tier, not free until you grow. The whole platform, for every inspector, at no cost.

HomeInspector.com costs $0: no subscription, no per-report fee, no setup fee, no contract, and no credit card to start. Unlimited inspections and reports, iOS and Android apps, scheduling, agreements, payments, client and agent portals, and a website builder are all included. The only costs you could ever see are third-party ones, like card-processing fees on payments you choose to collect, and we list those below.

One plan. Everything in it.

There is no feature matrix to read because nothing is held back. If it is on this site, it is included.

The complete list of what isn’t $0.

Two third-party costs, both optional, both the same with any inspection software. HomeInspector.com itself adds nothing to either.

Card-processing fees, if you collect payments through the platform
Payments run on Stripe through your own connected account. The processor’s fees apply to each payment and are shown at the time of payment, exactly as they would be with any card processor. Collect payments another way and there is nothing to pay.
Domain registration, if you connect your own domain
Your website comes with a free address on inspector.homeinspector.com. Connecting a domain you own is coming soon; when it does, the domain itself is bought from your registrar, not from us.

The full terms, including the payments section, are in the Terms of Service.

What the same software costs elsewhere.

Published core-plan prices, annualized, reviewed September 2026 from each vendor’s own pricing page. Websites are extra on two of them.

HomeInspector.com
Free
Spectora
$1,090–$1,308 / yr
HomeGauge
$1,068 / yr
Home Inspector Pro
$1,068 / yr

Spectora’s range runs from its annual plan to its monthly price over 12 months; HomeGauge and Home Inspector Pro list monthly prices only, multiplied by 12. Setup fees and website plans are excluded. The sourced, row-by-row version is on the comparison page; the switching guide covers what to bring over.

Why it’s free.

Reggora already makes money powering one in four U.S. home appraisals, and that business funds HomeInspector.com. Giving inspectors complete software for free builds a network of professionals who can choose to take separate, paid property-data assignments, currently $25 per eligible scan in select pilot markets, collected while you are already on site. That work is optional. Your inspection report is not shared with lenders.

The longer version is on the homepage and in the inspector FAQ.
